Increased fitness may lift your mood and can improve sleep patterns. Exercise also may change levels of chemicals in your brain, such as serotonin, endorphins and stress hormones.
Physical exercise is important for maintaining and can contribute for maintaining a healthy weight, regulating the digestive health, building and maintaining healthy bone density, muscle strength, and joint mobility, promoting physiological well-being, reducing surgical risks, and strengthening the immune system. Some studies also indicate that exercise may increase life expectancy and overall quality of life.
